
MARTHA DOGGETT
Since early childhood Martha has been interested in working with clay. Since that time, she has studied with many well know potters while developing her own unique style. Many of her pieces are sculptural and constructed by combining wheel, coil, slab or pinch techniques.
While in Dallas she both produced and hosted the television show, POTTERY SHOP, for twelve years and has been a frequent guest on other television shows.
Martha has produced a three-part video series on how to make pottery and fire kilns.
Each video is approximately 45 minutes in length and is marketed across the US and in many foreign countries.
She has also given pottery demonstrations TO VARIOUS GROUPS IN Northern Ireland, as well as taught classes to the basket-making Havasupai Indian Tribe living in the Grand Canyon.
She now resides in Lufkin, Texas and has opened her studio to teach Pottery Classes in East Texas, Teaching beginning and advanced classes featuring her unique style, techniques and love of the art.
